Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad – Sabarmati Ashram & City Tour
Arrive in Ahmedabad, the cultural capital of Gujarat. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and some rest, proceed to visit Sabarmati Ashram, the former residence of Mahatma Gandhi and an important landmark of India’s freedom struggle.
Later, enjoy a short city tour covering Adalaj Stepwell, Jama Masjid, and the heritage areas of the old city. In the evening, explore local markets or enjoy traditional Gujarati cuisine. Dinner and overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Day 2: Ahmedabad to Gir National Park – Evening Safari
After an early breakfast, drive to Gir National Park, the only natural habitat of the Asiatic Lion. The journey offers scenic views of rural Gujarat and village life.
Upon arrival, check in at your wildlife resort and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy an exciting evening jungle safari where you may spot lions, leopards, deer, and a variety of bird species. Dinner and overnight stay near Gir.
Day 3: Gir to Somnath – Temple Visit
After breakfast, drive to Somnath, home to one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. On arrival, check in at your hotel and freshen up.
Visit the majestic Somnath Temple, beautifully located along the Arabian Sea. In the evening, attend the light and sound show at the temple complex, which highlights its rich history. Dinner and overnight stay in Somnath.
Day 4: Somnath to Dwarka – Temples & Coastline
After breakfast, proceed to Dwarka, one of the four major Char Dham pilgrimage sites. On arrival, check in at your hotel.
Visit Dwarkadhish Temple, Rukmini Devi Temple, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, and Gomti Ghat. Enjoy views of the Dwarka coastline and the Arabian Sea. Dinner and overnight stay in Dwarka.
Day 5: Dwarka to Rann of Kutch – White Desert Experience (Seasonal)
After breakfast, drive towards the Rann of Kutch, famous for its vast white salt desert. This experience is seasonal and best enjoyed between October and March.
On arrival, check in at your resort or tent accommodation. Explore the White Rann, enjoy a stunning sunset, and experience local Kutchi culture, folk music, and handicrafts. Dinner and overnight stay near the Rann of Kutch.
Day 6: Rann of Kutch to Ahmedabad – Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Ahmedabad. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
